The series gets a jumpstart on the clock this fall with 24: REDEMPTION, the unprecedented two-hour real-time “Day 7″ prequel, airing Sunday, Nov. 23. A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling) and SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro). Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
Dealing with life in a studio at NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza (the title is a shortening of that), the show centers around Liz Lemon, played by Saturday Night Live’s Tina Fey, who’s the head writer of The Girlie Show. The series revolves around the three-generational Wilson family who have recently moved from small town Kansas to glitzy Beverly Hills, California after the father, Harrison Wilson, accepts a position as Principal of West Beverly Hills High School.
Degrassi: The Next Generation’s Shenae Grimes and The Wire’s Tristan Wilds play the lead roles in the teen soap as Annie and Dixon Wilson, siblings who attend West Beverly Hills High. Reaper’s Jessica Stroup, The Winner’s Michael Steger, Runaway’s Dustin Milligan and American Heiress’ AnnaLynne McCord form the rest of the teenage cast of the upcoming drama. Their characters are Erin the wannabe socialite, Navid the politico, Ethan the popular jock and Naomi the wealthy debutante.
Full House’s Lori Loughlin, Arrested Development’s Jessica Walter, Dirt’s Ryan Eggold and Melrose Place’s Rob Estes have been cast as the adult characters in the drama. Loughlin will play the mother of Annie and Dixon Wilson, Walter will play Annie and Dixon’s grandmother, Eggold will play the students’ English teacher and Estes will star as Annie and Dixon’s father. Original 90210 alumni Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Joe E. Tata and Ann Gillespie reprise their roles as Kelly Taylor, Brenda Walsh, Nat Bussichio and Jackie Taylor under recurring status.
Created by world-renowned supermodel Tyra Banks, who executive produces the series with Ken Mok, America’s Next Top Model chronicles the transformation of everyday young women into potentially fierce supermodels. Fourteen participants will live together and vie for the incredible grand prize: an opportunity to be managed by Elite Model Management, a fashion spread in Seventeen magazine, and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.

This is American Idol - the hit FOX musical reality series following three judges, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson (II), Paula Abdul,and as of season 8,Kara DioGuardi, along with host Ryan Seacrest around the United States in search of the next American Idol, a pop star that truly shines above all the rest. With help from the viewers, they will decide from thousands of participants who will walk away with a record deal and the fame and fortune that is sure to come along with it.
American Idol was started as a spinoff of Pop Idol, a U.K. series with the same general format and also featuring Simon Cowell as a judge. It has since emerged as hit series in its own right, propelling FOX to the top of television rankings, inspiring various merchandise, and launching the careers of many hit-stars. This show also lead to a short-lived spinoff with younger singers called American Juniors.
The series is currently in its eighth season, featuring what the judges are describing as the best crop of new talent yet. Gone are the technobabble, disco-themed costumes and Egyptian helmets of the original series. The modern show introduces new elements to the Galactica story. The Cylons have developed human-form models that are indistinguishable from real humans. The Cylons have a monotheistic religion in contrast to the polytheistic religion of the human Colonies. The approach is serious and intense, with a focus on tough political, philosophical and religious issues set in a tale that manages to keep the focus on realistic and not always perfect characters.
In the miniseries, the Cylons launch a massive attack against the humans and wipe out the Twelve Colonies, sending the 47,000 survivors on a desperate search for the fabled 13th colony–Earth.

Created by writer/producers Chuck Lorre (of Two and a Half Men) and Bill Prady (of Gilmore Girls) comes The Big Bang Theory, a sitcom that shows what happens when hyperintelligent roommates/physicists Sheldon and Leonard meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door–and realize they know next to nothing about life outside of the lab. Rounding out the crew are the smarmy Wolowitz, who thinks he’s as sexy as he is brainy, and Koothrappali, who suffers from an inability to speak in the presence of a woman.
The show distinguishes itself by being unafraid to toss scientific references and technobabble into an otherwise standard sitcom, even employing a physicist to keep things accurate. In doing so, it allows Sheldon and Leonard to do for science what Frasier’s Crane brothers did for fine dining, art, and opera.

From executive producers Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson comes the darkly amusing drama Bones, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan has been teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes. Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but the chemistry between them has grown since they first met and has made them a strong and trusting team. Brennan’s equally brilliant colleagues (or “squints” as they’re often called) at the Jeffersonian’s Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy Angela Montenegro, who’s created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Dr. Jack Hodgins, who’s an expert on insects, spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby; and Brennan’s boss Dr. Camille “Cam” Saroyan, who replaced Dr. Daniel Goodman after the first season. Zack Addy, a young prodigy whose genius IQ sometimes distances him from reality, was Brennan’s former assistant, but at the end of season three he was found to be assisting a serial killer and no longer works at the Jeffersonian.
To aid Booth and Brennan in their persisting struggles, psychologist Dr. Lance Sweets signed on in season three as their therapist, and more recently has been hired to work in the lab to provide his unique input on cases.
David Duchovny heads up the cast in this comedy about a novelist with sex and drug addictions who is struggling to raise his daughter half the time, while having problems with his ex-girlfriend.

Crusoe and Friday have to think smart when it come to surviving on the island because of all the cannibals, apocalyptic lightning storms, militas, and wild animals, any of which could kill them.

He also has an active “night life”. Based on a code instilled in him by his foster father, Harry, he hunts down people who have escaped justice and makes sure they don’t get away with a crime again.
When idealistic attorney Nick George’s (Peter Krause) father dies, he ends up taking his father’s clients, the Darlings, led by patriarch Tripp (Donald Sutherland). It’s not always easy for Nick handling both legal and sometimes illegal matters.
Nick George goes through each episode trying to solve and correct the problems of each of the Darling family members. From fighting siblings to a dishonest husband to dealing with Tripp himself; Nick George certainly has his hands full in Dirty Sexy Money.

This Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI) produced sci-fi series on CBS is an adaptation of a British thriller of the same name. The show follows Dr. Jacob Hood (Rufus Sewell), a special science adviser to the US government who saves people from the worst abuses of science. He is accompanied by his feisty bodyguard, Rachel Young (Marley Shelton).
CBS ordered the show to series on 12 May 2008 with a thirteen episode initial order.

They will play Blair and Serena respectively, rich Manhattan rivals at a private school in New York. The last additions to this new CW drama are Misconceptions Taylor Momsen, The Covenant’s Chace Crawford and The Bedford Diaries’s Penn Badgley. Their characters are Momsen as Jenny a 14 year-old and shy girl, Nate the good looking boyfriend of Blair, and Dan the secret admirer of Serena.
E-Ring’s Kelly Rutherford and The Jury’s has been cast as the mother of lead role Serena. Rutherford will play the mother of Serena van der Woodsen (Lively’s character), a former ballerina and rock groupie. Afterlife’s Ed Westwick has been cast as Chuck Bass and Brothers and Sisters’ Matthew Settle has been cast as Jenny and Dan’s father, Rufus Humphrey.
Grey’s Anatomy is a hospital drama that focuses on Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), one of several first-year surgical interns, (now first year resident) at a Seattle, Wash., hospital. Along with her colleagues, Meredith struggles to maintain relationships while staying sharp at her new job.

After Oceanic Air Flight 815 tears apart in mid-air and crashes on a Pacific island on September 22nd 2004, its survivors are forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. Alan Ball, creator of Six Feet Under, returns to HBO with a new series based on the novel series Southern Vampire by Charlaine Harris. She and her brother Jason were raised by her grandmother after losing their parents in a flood and she tries to keep her telepathic ability a secret. Thanks largely in part to the creation of a Japanese-made synthetic blood called Tru Blood (where the series takes it name) vampires have made their existence known to the world. Sookie works at the bar ‘Merlotte’s’ which is owned and operated by her boss Sam Merlotte who has a secret of his own.
Charlie is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Jaguar in the front, and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother Alan, who’s facing a divorce, and his son Jake, come to live with him. Together, these two and a half men confront the challenges of growing up; finally. Complicating matters are the brothers’ self-obsessed, controlling mother, Evelyn, Alan’s estranged wife, Judith and Charlie’s crazy neighbor Rose, who wants to be a part of his life and is willing to do anything to be around.
